Wonderful

Perfect location - easy access to city (walkable) and beach / cenotes / archeological sites (by bike), while location provided a quiet retreat. Staff went above and beyond, including arranging last minute transport from the airport. Such a beautiful spot and peaceful trip, just what I needed!

Despite being a Yoga resort, yoga is not included in the room rate and is rather expensive. I did join twice though and it was an incredible experience.

Pleasant stay in a neat room, no complains

We read before that the location was a bit weird, but overall is very close to the Tulum centre. Good options for food nearby, supermarkets and the bus stops if you are going by public transportation. The room was clean and spacious, and the facilities are small but nice.

The reception staff were friendly and tried to help, although one of the guys gave us outdated information about a beach club. The sliding door of the room felt a bit rickety in terms of locking, but they keep a security guard overnight, so it was not a major concern.

This is a heaven hotel! The location is a bit further from the downtown area, but still very accessible by foot to everything you need! The rooms are perfect, the cleaning is on request basic which we loved, the staff is incredible so helpfull and kind, the pool is cleaned every morning, yoga classes are great, breakfast if very generous and good! Overall amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone!

Pool chairs would need a little refresh! Pillow are very hard too, but the bed is comfortable!

Hidden gem just outside the busy ‘party’ parts of Tulum. Nice rooms, small pool, amazing breakfast and magical massages!

Would definitely recommend.

When pulling up it felt like I was in the wrong place. But as soon as you walk through the doors it’s a completely different place than just downtown Tulum. Loved the jungle feel walking to the suite. Peaceful. The suites are absolutely amazing and worth every penny.

Wonderful

Zenses hotel is a hidden gem in Tulum. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The jungle garden gives a very relaxed and natural vibe. Breakfast was excellent with many vegetarian options available. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They have a shower and bathroom which you can use once you check out in case you need it. The location is good next to the main street in town. The beach is easy to reach if you rent a bike or a scooter.

I booked a tour to Chichen-Itza with the hotel and I was a little disappointed. Probably is better to book your own tour with a different company that the one they work with.

A perfect place to escape the crowded center and yet a superb location to explore Tulum.

Very clean and a good position to explore the city and yet very quiet. The pool is a nice touch to cool down in the evening. The staff especially Alfonso at reception, he is the best and has a lot of knowledge of what to see and has very good restaurant suggestions.

In the shower the shampoo and shower gel were not marked, so you need to guess what is what.

Nice place but issues with yoga

The room was beautiful and also the place itself was nice. Breakfast for an additional 13e was good as well.

The staff wasn’t that helpful when I arrived. I booked the place especially for the yoga and the night I arrived I was told I can’t book it anymore for the morning. In the morning I asked again from a different staff and I was told that I should have booked it the night before. The whole communication about it was so bad even though the place markets itself as a yoga place.

Amazing, quiet place. Rooms are enormous, but very cozy and clean. It was the most comfortable place we stayed in. Thanks to all the bushes in front, you can't hear anything or anyone. Yoga classes are very nice. Delicious breakfast. Location is good, close to restaurants, unfortunately all streets in Tulum don't look very nice, so its nice to have a car there. All the restaurant recommendations were good.

Stunning place. I could have stayed for so much longer.

I was blown away by the resort. It was absolutely stunning. The yoga sessions, the staff (particularly Alfonzo - what a superstar), the cleanliness, the comfort, the jungle. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

A quaint retreat with luxury jungle vibes

I loved the lush jungle feel of the property. The rooms weee a nice size with a relaxing zen feel to the . The pool are was small and quaint. The ability to do yoga every morning was an added bonus.

The mosquitos in the room. It’s the jungle so you really can’t do anything about it. Just be sure to bring repellent.

Luxurious getaway amidst the hustle en bustle of Tulum

Zenses is an oasis in Tulum Pueblo. As soon as you walk through the door, you're in a different place. Nice well-kept garden, and due to the design, it offers each room a lot of privacy. The pool area is beautiful, clean, and inviting. The small-scale hotel is at walking distance from the centre of Tulum Pueblo, so there are many shopping and restaurant options around. Also the big supermarket Chedraui is around the corner. The room itself was very spacious, modern, clean and tastefully decorated. Good working AC, Netflix tv, good water pressure and good lighting. All in all very good value for money and although we didn't like Tulum all that much, we would have another stay at Zenses in a heartbeat.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the centre of Tulum Pueblo, so don't be surprised that right behind it, you find how some of the locals live. Us privileged Western people would call it a slum. However, that is the reality of Mexico and tourism in general. Within hotel grounds, you don't notice any of it! And we walked to the town centre without any trouble.

Hidden treasure

This was our favourite accommodation of our whole Mexico trip. We thought it was really well priced. We loved how it felt like a hidden jungle oasis, especially around the pool. Breakfast was delicious! The staff were 10/10 and our room was dreamy. We can't wait to come back to Tulum and stay at Zenses again!!
